Change of Route
Full Closure of Friedrichstraße

Dear Guests,

We would like to inform you that due to a full closure of Friedrichstraße, access to our hotel has been changed from June 27, 2024, to August 31, 2024.

You can now reach us via the following route:

  • Schlossstraße
  • Nonnengasse
  • Unterm Heilig-Kreuz

Please note that Nonnengasse has been converted into a reversed one-way street during this period to allow access to our hotel.

The route to our hotel is well marked. If you need assistance with directions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help you.

Arriving by car

Leave the A7 motorway at exit 91 / "Fulda Nord". Follow the B27 towards Fulda-Stadtmitte. After about 1.5 km take the exit Fulda-Zentrum.

Turn right onto Leipziger Straße and stay on this road for about 2km. Follow the road signs marked "Dom" or "Stadtschloss".

Turn left onto Pauluspromenade. After about 300 meters you will see the magnificent Fulda "Dom" on the right and the "Stadtschloss" on the left.
Go on straight onto "Friedrichstrasse". After about 100 meters you will have reached your destination - the Hotel Platzhirsch Fulda (Unterm Heilig Kreuz 3-5).

If you have a navigation system we recommend that you enter "Friedrichstraße" as the destination address.

Arriving by train

Fulda station is about 10 minutes walking distance from the Hotel Platzhirsch. Follow "Bahnhofstraße" straight down to the "Universitätsplatz" and pass the "Galeria" department store on the right to reach the "Borgiasplatz". From there you will already see the PLATZHIRSCH.
