Accessible rooms
It is very important to us, that our handicapped guests feel comfortable at the Platzhirsch as well. Therefore, the majority of our hotel is geared towards accessibility. The main entrance, bar & lounge and our rooms are all easily accessible in a wheelchair.
Some of our hotel rooms are equipped according to the requirements of DIN 18040 for accessible rooms. In addition, each of these five rooms in the Deluxe category is larger than 270 square feet and has an adjustable bed. An emergency call button in each bathroom provides additional security.
The "Interessengemeinschaft barrierefreies Fulda e.V." has tested our hotel with wheelchair users and certified the PLATZHIRSCH with its label "Fulda-rollstuhlgerecht". Have a look at our Infotrailer.
